Dear Great Canadian Friends;
A few weeks ago, we sent a survey to all of our Great Canadian Holidays travellers, and we wish to express our sincere thanks to you, as we received a huge and gratifying response.
We learned that the overwhelming percentage of you do not feel comfortable travelling until there is a vaccine or proven cure for Covid 19. We also learned that the return to travel will be gradual, with Canadian destinations being preferred until the situation south of the border becomes safe and stable. The timeline preferred by the vast majority is spring 2021, and once a vaccine is distributed effectively, a return to travel will be swift and enthusiastic.
We are listening, and we are aligning our plans accordingly. We are preparing a fresh slate of tours, both one-day and multi-day, to begin in the spring. We will feature many of your favourites along with a variety of fresh, new travel destinations.
If circumstances change, (for instance casinos welcoming smaller groups) we will of course respond quickly. Keep an eye on our social media sites (Facebook, Instagram) for further announcements. That way youll be the first to hear!
While our coaches already offer a healthy travel environment with fresh air being circulated every 9 minutes, strict cleaning standards and high quality air filters, we have increased our levels of sanitizing with a fogging machine to disinfect every surface every night, as well as an ultra violet light that kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in the air.
While we know many of us wish we could travel again right away, it is clear that waiting until 2021 is the only responsible choice. There are too many variables we cannot control, and we would not be at all comfortable putting our staff and passengers at risk. Therefore, we will be patient, and re-launch our tour program when we can do so safely and with confidence.
We are also taking a fresh look at our destinations and attractions with regard to the Black Lives Matter initiative, and where there are adjustments to be made with respect to that or to our own indigenous peoples, we will ensure that we are presenting these places and attractions through a truthful lens. It is a different world we find ourselves in, but we believe its a better one. It is a world we fully embrace with a fresh outlook and great optimism.
We thank you all for your patience and support as we endure a year that will go down in history. We look forward to seeing you enjoying the wonders of travel once again.

Worried about getting your refund?
Please dont be. Although a number of airline and travel companies have decided to give travel credits rather than actual refunds, we are not among them. We are fully committed to refunding everyone the full cost of the tour. We are issuing these refunds just as quickly as we can, but it is a slow process. We thank you for your patience.
