Arizona

Day One

We meet our travelling companions and set out for the sunny south. We spend our first night together in Cincinnati.

Day Two

We arrive in Nashville by mid-day. On arrival, a local guide joins us for a fascinating tour of "Music City U.S.A." The evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Explore Nashville's most popular hot spots like the Honky Tonk Highway strip, located on Lower Broadway, or stroll through historic Centennial Park.

Day Three

Before leaving Nashville, we visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. Then, it’s off to Memphis, where we tour Graceland, the home of the late Elvis Presley.

Day Four

Today we travel to Dallas, where we spend the night.

Day Five

A local guide joins us today for an interesting tour of Dallas, including the Book Depository Building from where President Kennedy was assassinated. We spend the night in Farmers Branch.

Day Six

The weather is decidedly warmer as we continue south, spending the night in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Day Seven - Eleven

Today we cross into Arizona, visiting the historic town of Tombstone, where Wyatt Earp and his contemporaries ruled the day. Then unpack your bags for a 5-night stay in Tucson, known for enjoying more sunshine than any other city in the U.S. Daytimes average in the mid-20s, while evenings can be cool. The hotel features a lovely pool, onsite dining, and wireless internet. We include a visit to the Pima Air & Space Museum, and the Sonora Desert Museum. More shopping and sightseeing options will be available, as well as opportunity to enjoy recreational activities such as golf, tennis, and more

Day Twelve

We enjoy a leisurely drive through Scottsdale where we stop for lunch before visiting Montezuma's Castle, in the heart of red rock country near Sedona. We spend the next three nights in Flagstaff.

Day Thirteen

One of the wonders of the world and an indescribable sight, the Grand Canyon...we spend the entire day at leisure soaking it all in. We also see an incredible IMAX movie.

Day Fourteen

Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon are considered by many to be even more stunning than the Grand Canyon! We’ll let you be the judge. The gorgeous red rock formations are simply amazing.

Day Fifteen

Today we travel through the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest, before arriving in the beautiful arid city of Albuquerque, NM.

Day Sixteen

The scenery continues today as we travel through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, across the Pecos River and into Amarillo for the night.

Day Seventeen

Travelling through the agricultural areas of Texas, we cross into Oklahoma and take a guided tour of Oklahoma City.

Day Eighteen

Today, we roll into the charming and eclectic city of St. Louis. Enjoy a guided tour of "The Gateway to the West" and witness local treasures. From iconic landmarks such as the Gateway Arch to the many gardens and parks, there is so much to see in this vibrant metropolis!

Day Nineteen

The scenery continues as we travel through the agricultural midwest, destined for our last night in Indianapolis.

Day Twenty

We arrive home by early evening with many lifelong memories of the southern adventure.
