California Sightseeing

Day One

We join our travel companions and head to the Chicago area for the first night of our 23 day long adventure!

Day Two

We travel to St. Louis, Missouri where we will visit the famed St. Louis Arch.

Day Three

Tonight we will spend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On the way, we will tour the Fantastic Caverns in Springfield, Missouri.

Day Four

We will spend this evening in Amarillo, Texas. We will visit the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Museum enroute in Oklahoma City.

Day Five

Today we will travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We will spend some time in the historic Old Town, Albuquerque's first neighbourhood.

Day Six

We will visit Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon and spend the next two nights in Flagstaff.

Day Seven

One week into our journey, today we will spend at the Grand Canyon.

Day Eight

We will continue onto Nevada where we will spend the next two nights in Las Vegas. Our accommodation is right on the Las Vegas strip, at the Fabulous Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

Day Nine

Enjoy Las Vegas today at your own pace.

Day Ten

Today we will arrive in California and spend the next 2 nights in the Los Angeles suburb, Buena Park.

Day Eleven

We will enjoy an included city tour today of Los Angeles.

Day Twelve

Tonight we will spend at a lovely oceanview hotel, in Morro Bay, California. We will visit the Danish village of Solvang and view some incredible oceanside scenery today.

Day Thirteen

This morning we will visit Hearst Castle. We will spend tonight in Monterery.

Day Fourteen

We will enjoy a train excursion into Redwood Forest, with an included BBQ lunch. We will spend the next three nights in San Francisco.

Day Fifteen

We will explore San Francisco today with a guided tour of the city, followed by a sightseeing boat cruise which will take us past Alcatraz.

Day Sixteen

Today is your choice. Either join us for a full day in Napa Valley and Sonoma, with a wine tour and tasting. Or, spend a free day in San Francisco.

Day Seventeen

We will bid farewell to California and spend tonight in Reno, Nevada.

Day Eighteen

Today we will travel to Utah, where we will spend two nights in Salt Lake City,

Day Nineteen

After a guided tour of Temple Square, enjoy the daily organ recital in the Tabernacle. This afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Salt Lake City.

Day Twenty

Sit back and relax as we enjoy the scenic drive into Wyoming. We will spend tonight in Cheyenne.

Day Twenty-One

We continue our journey and spend tonight in Nebraska, in the Omaha area.

Day Twenty-Two

Back to where it all began, we our final evening where we spent our first night, in the Chicago area. A farewell dinner is included this evening at the hotel.

Day Twenty-Three

We travel home with wonderful memories of our spectacular California holiday.
