England Sightseeing & France by Cruise

Day One -

Toronto to London: This morning, we board the big blue coach and meet our fellow travel companions. Together, we fly from Toronto to London, England.

Day Two -

London Sightseeing: A motorcoach and local guide will greet us at Heathrow Airport. Enjoy a half-day panoramic tour of London, featuring all the major sights. Have your camera ready as we explore iconic destination, from Buckingham Palace to the Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey and more! Enjoy an included group lunch at a local restaurant before checking in to Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington, our hotel for the night. Dinner is included this evening.

Day Three -

London, Midlands, South West England: After an included breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a full day of exciting sightseeing. Experience Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument known for its mysterious stone circle, wander the grounds Oxford University and admire its stunning architecture and academic significance, and visit Christ Church Oxford, one of Oxford's largest, grandest and most prestigious colleges. Lunch is included during this full-day tour. After we return to our hotel in London, the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy on your own.

Day Four -

London Sightseeing: This morning, we board our coach after breakfast to enjoy a full day tour around London. A local guide joins us as we explore Westminster Abbey, one of the most important Gothic buildings in the country. Then, we'll set sail on a one-way sightseeing cruise of the Thames River. Listen to informative and entertaining commentary as you take in iconic landmarks like the Houses of Parliament from a unique angle. Afterwards, we'll see the Tower of London up close and personal. Hear tales of its bloody 1000-year history as a palace, a prison and a fortress, see the Crown Jewels and walk the ramparts for fine views of the city and Tower Bridge. We then return to the hotel to freshen up before an included dinner at a local restaurant.

Day Five -

London Sightseeing: Today is free for you to enjoy on your own. Start off with an included breakfast at the hotel and discover legendary London gems at your own pace.

Day Six -

London, South East England, South West England: After breakfast, we journey to Windsor Castle, the longest-occupied royal residence in Europe. See the elegant State Apartments, historic St. Georges Chapel and maybe witness the changing of the guard. Then, we travel to Chawton to view Jane Austen's house, the birthplace of her six beloved novels. This evening, we check in to Winchester Royal Hotel. A 3-course dinner with tea and coffee is included.

Day Seven -

South West England: This morning, we depart for the Southampton Cruise Terminal to catch Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas for an exciting 2-night cruise to Le Havre, a major port city in France! The ship features impressive amenities, including onboard pools, lounges, multiple fantastic dining options, Broadway-style entertainment, a casino, boutique shopping and more.

Day Eight -

Le Havre (Paris Optional): Today, we arrive to port in Le Havre; the day is yours to enjoy and explore on your own (docked from 7:00am to 5:00pm). Shuttle services to Paris (approximately two hours from port), can be arranged through the cruise line, but there's plenty to do and see around this iconic region.

Day Nine -

Southampton & Home: After a fun cruise, we arrive back in Southampton where a coach is waiting for us. We journey to the airport and return home, full of happy memories from our time in England and France.
