Pigeon Forge and Nashville

Day One:

Our first night is spent in Cincinnati.

Day Two:

Early afternoon, we arrive in 'Music City USA', Nashville. First stop, enjoy free time along the famous Honky Tonk Highway, AKA Broadway Street. This evening, we attend a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry, steeped in country music tradition. Relax and unwind at our accommodation for the evening, the outstanding Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Day Three:

We visit the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville before a scenic drive to the charming town of Pigeon Forge. Our home for the next few evenings will be Inn on the River. Fun awaits tonight at Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Show. This exciting spectacle features 32 elegant horses and a cast of top-notch riders. The included four-course feast includes southern favourites such as pulled pork, rotisserie chicken, biscuits, roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, and more!

Day Four:

This morning, we visit Pigeon Forge's amazing Titanic Museum, which boasts a replica of part of the iconic ship, as well as many artifacts. Walk on the grand staircase, shovel coal, touch an iceberg, and more. In the early afternoon we visit Dollywood, a delightful theme park owned by Dolly Parton. Visit Dolly's "Rags to Riches" Museum, take in some of the live entertainment, visit the gift and craft stores, all magnificently set in the heart of the mountains.

Day Five:

Start the day with a sightseeing tour through the Smoky Mountains National Park (weather permitting). The afternoon is yours to explore at the Island in Pigeon Forge or Tanger Outlets. Tonight, we'll immerse ourselves in the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show. It's like being at a barn dance, and somehow someone has brought BOTH the Hatfields and McCoys to the party. A sheriff is elected, and the fun begins. Dinner is a southern style feast.

Day Six:

We depart Pigeon Forge and return to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Day Seven:

We return home today with many wonderful memories.
