Summertime in the Eastern Townships

Day One

A relaxing drive brings us into Quebec, La Belle Province, and into Sherbrooke by this evening. Known as New England's gateway to Quebec, we unpack for a three-night stay in Sherbrooke.

Day Two

Our day begins with a visit to La Station Cheese Market, featuring some of the incredible local cheese, meat, and other popular delicacies. We spend the next leg of our journey touring a local farm that specialized in blackcurrent products, Ives Hill, and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch in beautiful surroundings. Next, we arrive at Érablière du Village! Not only will you enjoy the view of the Eastern Township Mountains, but you'll also experience a behind-the-scenes look at production of maple syrup and other Canadian products. Taste the tradition. We return to the hotel for some quality R&R.

Day Three

This morning we drive to Miellerie Lune de Miel, a charming family-run Apiary. See what all the buzz is about with a sweet tour of their beekeeping farm. Enjoy a guided tour and included lunch at Bleu Lavande, where we learn all about lavender. This afternoon, we enjoy a tour and wine tasting at Cep d'Argent, a vineyard with a picturesque view of the lake. Known for their high-quality sparkling wines, it's home to the champagne of Quebec!

Day Four

Spend the morning exploring, shopping, and browsing on your own in the pretty town of Magog before setting sail for scenic cruise on Lake Memphremagog. Admire the summer air and sparkling waters of the lake while partaking in a delicious brunch with onboard entertainment. After this, we head to Knowlton - the home of Louise Penny, author of the award-winning Armand Gamache series of murder mysteries. Witness some of the different places that inspired her various novels. Then, we travel to Bromont for an overnight stay.

Day Five

We set our sights to the west today, making our way back to Ontario. We arrive home this evening with wonderful memories.
