Gaspé

Day One

Board the luxury motor coach and meet your fellow travellers! We spend the day journeying to Montreal, Quebec where we'll spend the night.

Day Two

This morning, we travel to Rivière-du-Loup, a small city on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. We'll make a fascinating stop along the way to "Le Musée des Anciens Canadiens", a historical exhibit showcasing the famous Bourgault family. We'll learn more about their lives and discover how they made their mark in the art world.

Day Three

Rise and shine! We depart for Carleton-Sur-Mer this morning. We'll enjoy lunch and free time in Amqui along the way - be sure take in the views of the Matapédia Rivers. Afterwards, we head to Miguasha National Park for a guided sightseeing tour! This heritage site is renowned for its exceptionally well-preserved fossils from the Devonian Period, including fish and plant fossils. Tonight, we'll enjoy an included dinner at the hotel.

Day Four

This morning, we'll discover the history of cod fishing on a fascinating guided visit through Banc-de-Paspebiac National Historic Site. Then, we'll journey on to Percé, a world-famous heritage jewel. We'll spend the afternoon exploring the Percé UNESCO Global Geopark, a destination that offers breathtaking views of Percé Rock, interactive multimedia exhibitions, guided hikes, picnic areas, and more!

Day Five

Start the day with a visit to Le Chafaud Discovery Centre, an exhibit dedicated to local art. From historic pieces to modern displays, it truly shows the best of Percé. Afterwards, we'll board a cruise to sightsee around the iconic Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island. The afternoon is free to explore this magnificent must-see destination.

Day Six

Today we travel to Matane, a small town that's nestled between sea and river. Here we'll explore the Museum of Gaspesie, a destination dedicated to preserving the identity and culture of the Gaspé Peninsula. Then, we'll travel along the Bay of Gaspe up to Forillon Park. This route is especially exciting - keep an eye out for whale sightings! We'll make a sightseeing stop in Cape Bon Ami before continuing to Matane.

Day Seven

We start the day with a charming visit to the Reford Gardens (known as Les Jardins de Métis). This gem is recognized as one of the wonders of Québec and one of the largest gardens in North America! Be sure to stop and smell the roses. Then, we'll continue on to Kamouraska for lunch and free time. Our last delicious stop is to La Feé Gourmande (a chocolate factory) before journeying to Quebec City for 2 nights.

Day Eight

Enjoy a guided tour of Quebec City this morning, followed by a lovely visit to St. Anne de Beaupre. Take in all the sights that make this metropolis so unforgettable! Then, visit Cuivres d'Art Albert Gilles, a popular copper art studio and museum. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace.

Day Nine

Today we travel back to Montreal, where we'll enjoy lunch on our own, followed by a fascinating guided tour of this vibrant city. This tour features a special stop at Notre Dame Basilica. We'll finish the day with an included farewell dinner in Old Port.

Day Ten

We board our coach and journey home this morning. This isn't a goodbye, it's "a bientôt". See you again soon Quebec!
